A diverse AW2014 collection inspired by the transition of seasons
The in-house design collective have used the transformation of leaves as the source for their colour palette and fabrics, drawing influence from the weathered details, colour and organic shapes. Other key inspirations for this collection are the changing colours of the city at night, with particular focus on the idea of colours reflecting on the wet pavement, which are expressed in the use of reflective fabrics.
For AW14 B-side by Walé has reintroduced denim into their collection and included highvisibility fabrics. Faux fur, jersey, textured wools, cotton twill, quilted nylon and mesh are just some of the fabrics that the design team have used to further communicate the concept. Key pieces of this season will include high-visibility jackets with intricate detailing, neoprene fabric that gives a modern twist to the bomber jacket, perforated neoprene for the mini skirts, with more ready-to-wear pieces including contrast mesh and jersey mix dresses. Quilted nylon hoodies and gilets are some of the statement pieces of this season.
The collection will be available at Early Retirement, Sole DXB 14/15th November
