This year Ray-Ban is set to return to Sole DXB, with an immersive, interactive funhouse. Hooked around Ray-Ban’s #Campaign4Change – a global movement to rally people to share the change they want in the world – the unique space will feature activities that have made their rounds at festivals around the world, including SXSW in Austin, Lollapalooza in Sao Paolo, and Creamfields in Malta: a ‘Speak the Truth’ confession booth where one can proudly confess their deepest, darkest secrets on a t-shirt and a ‘Give Long Lasting Love a Chance’ tattoo parlor, where one can profess their love with temporary tattoos.
Ray-Ban will also have a retail pop-up at the space, where the brand’s most iconic styles take centre stage with the ‘Havana Collection’, which pays tribute to four timeless shapes: the Ray-Ban Aviator, Shooter, Outdoorsman and Caravan.
Finally, the brand will be collaborating with one of hip hop’s finest exports, ‘The Narcicyst’ aka Yassin Alsalman, a musician, actor and multimedia artist, on an exclusive lecture and short film: ‘Power to the People’, presented by Ray-Ban. Yassin will be discussing his introduction to hip hop, as well how the culture reshapes ones identity and understanding of cultural belonging and creativity.
Power To The People by Narcy at 4.00PM – 4.45PM, 21st November
