+ Event Logistics Manager - PART TIME POSITIONS

THE ROLE

The Event Logistics Manager is responsible for coordinating all event-related logistics and program operations support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, communicating and managing event schedules, relaying any event budget needs, arranging equipment rentals, and other event-related logistics needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Allocation, procurement and shipment of event assets and branded gear.

• Assist if any questions regarding scheduling and logistics arise.

• Secure and manage storage spaces for event materials across the country.

• Provide event logistics and program operations support (such as shipping to/from event, communicating event setup/breakdown details, update and track deliverables needed per event, manage timelines, ensure venues and vendors invoices/payments are received and accounted for)

• Tracking of all campaign assets and branded materials at all times;

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers

• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets

• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

• Point person for re-orders or replacement of any campaign materials.

• Co-ordinating guest services, hospitality, front of house, media and film teams.

YOU WILL HAVE:

• Experience planning and coordinating event logistics;

• Experience working directly with event staff and/or venues;

• Experience working in a collaborative environment;

• Experience in logistics/event management/advertising/marketing account management;

• Experience tracking and managing budgets;

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;

+ Hostesses - PART TIME POSITIONS

A hostess helps create a pleasant atmosphere for lounge guests. Typical job duties include greeting guests, showing attendees tables, making sure that all the customer’s needs are met, providing support to other team members, and solving any issue that may arise.

YOU WILL:

• Schedule dining reservations for guests in advance and as they arrive at the restaurant. Hostesses often have to make decisions about where a group will sit in the restaurant. E.g.( smoking, non smoking) • Directs and instructs the dining room personnel on customer needs to ensure customers receive fast and quality service from the moment they arrive.

• Should a group have special needs or request, the hostess ensures the group's requirements are met. This may include services needed for small children, as well as for individuals with disabilities or food allergies.

• Greet guests as they arrive and take them to their seats. Also provide a menu and explain specials. Answer immediate questions the patrons have.

• Introduce the customers to their server.

A guest service agent is a customer service/ hospitality focused role. We are looking for professional, dedicated team members to help look after our VIP’s. It is your job to help the guests get the information and assistance they need to make their stay enjoyable.

YOU WILL:

• Have great Customer Service/Communication Skills

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive into the hotel

• Help the guest with directions, take them where they need to go

An Info Desk Agent will have responsibilities such as providing their absolute best service with the team and guests that attend Sole DXB, ensuring our customer's questions are answered and solving known problems.

YOU WILL:

• Greets visitors/ follow scripts where necessary according to the Department's Customer Service protocol

• Listens to needs and responds to customer with appropriate information and/or directions

• Providing first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues

• Properly escalating unresolved queries to the next level of support

• Tracking, routing and redirecting problems to correct resources

• Redirect queries to the responsible departments in an efficient manner

As a Transport Officer, it is your responsibility for providing exemplary services to the guests that are arriving. A Transport Officer Agent ensures that our VIPs receive the highest standard of service in transport, hospitality and at the Sole DXB venue.

YOU WILL:

• Supervise and control the transport services of guest and VIPs to and from the event.

• Follow and oversee the transport schedule

• Coordinate and arrange pick-ups and drop off s whenever necessary

• Coordinate updates and provides tracking information of transport to guest services coordinator as well as to necessary parties

+ Zone Manager - PART TIME POSITIONS

Each Zone Manager is assigned to primarily assist customers and vendors, implement operations and logistical instructions and maintain one or two geographic zones that comprise the event grounds.

YOU WILL:

• Act as the liaison between vendors and staff

• Redirect queries to the appropriate departments / responsible parties.

• Troubleshooting aesthetic and logistical issues (examples: electricity, tables and chairs, supplies of food and beverages, recycling and trash)

• Communicating with and answering questions from staff, vendors and other participants, volunteers, and customers.

• Ensure tidiness and upkeep of your zone

• Conflict resolution and reporting issues to superiors

• Be responsible for your zone at all times, with special attention to emergency requirements and hazardous behaviour taking precautions with the permission of your superior whenever necessary
